The practice is led by Fawaz F. Alshalawi , who practiced as a partner at a United States international law firm. Fawaz is a dual citizen of Saudi Arabia and speaking in Arabic and English.
Fawaz completed his high legal education in the United State and Saudi Arabia, as a graduate of LLM master degree from US and bachelor of the Islamic Law (Shari’ah) from Imam University of KSA, which he has applied in various types of Shari’ah compliant transactions.

- Advised Saudi Arabian Company its joint venture with China Corporation to build
- Advising a major United States project manager on its operations in the GCC, including all aspects of its entry into a consortium for a high Company Project, increasing its shareholding in its Saudi Arabian joint venture, employment matters, contract review and negotiation, and corporate governance/compliance
- Representing a major United States project company on the establishment of a joint venture in Saudi Arabia, advising and negotiating on the company’s behalf with the Saudi Development Authority to act as program manager for the Saudi Company
- * Advised a major GCC real estate conglomerate on legal issues relating their establishment in Saudi Arabia, and the acquisition, lease and mortgage of real estate owned by the conglomerate in Saudi Arabia
- Advised a leading Sweden utility company in the negotiation and execution of a joint venture agreement and an operation and maintenance agreement
- Supervised and advised on various general assemblies for joint-stock companies in Saudi Arabia
- Advised an authorized person by the Capital Market Authority in connection with its conversion from a limited liability company to a joint-stock company, and the acquisition of a minority stake by a third party investor. Issues involved funding of capital requirements, through cash and in kind, meeting the CMA set deadlines and advising on negotiating the same, preparing the transactional documents for the acquisition, and conducting corporate steps until full conversion
- Conducted due diligence and prospectus drafting for the initial public offering of a family owned closed joint-stock company in the business of contracting in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
- Represented and advised various local and international parties in arbitrations and almost all main courts and quasi-judicial in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia including the General Court, the Partial Court, the Board of Grievances (both commercial and administrative circuits), the Committee for the Settlement of Banking Disputes, the Committee for the settlement of Securities Disputes, and the Labor Dispute Committees.
- Advised a major exclusive automobile distributor in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in connection with a dispute with the foreign manufacturer. Work involved conducting and monitoring international litigations, governmental lobbying, and leading PR campaigns.
- Advised a Saudi automobile non-exclusive distributor in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in connection with a dispute with the foreign manufacturer. Work involved advising on various Saudi law aspects including commercial agency, competition, and Shari’ah.
- Advised a number of US, European and/or multi-national clients with respect to entry into various government procurement contracts, review and drafting of employment contracts and disputes.
